I seek perfection in my life,
Guide me, through Your grace,
To seek absolute perfection,
Perfection that can only be found in You,
Our Lord, Jesus Christ.
Your understanding is perfect;
Your forgiveness is perfect;
Your words are perfect;
Your ways are perfect;
Your love is perfect;
May I find true contentment.
Envelop me with compassion
And sympathy for others faults.
Help me to understand that
Perfection is only found in You.
Your love is perfect;
Your ways are perfect;
Your words are perfect;
Your forgiveness is perfect;
Your understanding is perfect;
Only once I grasp this fact,
And seek forgiveness
For my own short comings,
For my own short comings,
Will I be able to see the good in others.
God's perfection manifested in man.
