February 2010...A Man Reaps What he Sows

Father how Your heart breaks
When your children sin against You.
Your own dear children
You sent Your Son to die for.

We continue to do wrong,
To wrong You;
You, the only One
Who loves us unconditionally.

"Listen!" says Jesus.
"I am coming soon!
I will bring my rewards with Me,
To give to each according to what he has done."

We should judge our own conduct.
We cannot deceive God,
He knows exactly what we have 'planted',
It's up to us to choose...

Have we shared His message
Of salvation and grace?
Or have we sown our natural desires,
And become tired of doing good.

Even though we do wrong,
God guides us through His Word
To plant in the Spirit...
Eternal life to gain.

"Do not be deceived:
God cannot be mocked.
A man reaps what he sows."
