Parting is a sorrowful time,
No matter what the cause,
A time to reflect on the past,
A time to stop and pause.
Parting leaves you so lonely,
Each day seems to never end.
So lonely, nobody to talk too,
So lonely, time alone you spend.
Parting makes you question,
Why did this have to be?
You question God’s part in it;
You question what you can’t see!
Parting need not break the bond,
That’s held you close and true.
The bond of love and friendship,
The bond that saw you through.
Parting promises a glorious dawn,
You’ll be reunited once more.
A glorious dawn, together forever!
A glorious dawn, the parting o’er.
