With a whisper "Good morning, child.
I love you and I'll be with you..."
Your voice, so soft and mild.
"I love You too, Lord,
I'm glad You'll be with me.
I have so many things to do,
Come along and You will see.
But first let me have some quiet time,
Alone with You this day.
There's so much I have to thank You for,
As I kneel before You and pray.
You provide my daily bread,
And forgive me all my sins.
Help me forgive others too,
As this new day begins.
Teach me the way to go, Lord.
Help me to follow Your call;
If I listen to You carefully,
You will correct me before I fall.
You already have a plan for me,
Drawn up in Your book of life.
If I spend time with You each day,
You'll lead me in peace and strife.
Obedience is what you expect of me;
My Father, you only have to ask.
And I will be Your hands today,
Fulfilling every task."
