August 2006...A Song of Praise

I will exalt my God and King,

Every day I will praise Your name,

Because You are great and most worthy of praise,

I will praise Your name for ever and ever.

I will sing of Your splendour and majesty,

I will meditate on the power of Your awesome works.

I will proclaim Your great deeds,

I will celebrate Your abundant goodness and righteousness.

My Lord You are so good to all,

Compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love.

Faithful, to all Your promises,

You uphold us in all our needs.

You are near to all who call on You,

You fulfil the desires of those who fear You,

You watch over those who love You,

You hear our cry and save us.

My mouth will sing praises to You Lord,

For Your glorious and everlasting kingdom.

Let every creature praise Your holy name,

For ever and ever, Amen.
