August 2011...Our Daily Requests

We come to You daily with requests,
We beg and cry at Your feet.
"Be with us Lord; heal us;
Lead us; teach us; show us Your way."

 

And as a patient Father, with His child,
You listen, and provide for all our needs.
You don't ask for a thank you,
Or for anything in return.

 

Oh, let us rather come to You,
With thanksgiving and praise;
Knowing that You will take care
Of everything we give back to You.

 

Let us no longer hang on to
Those things we truly desire,
Using them to seek attention
When You are ALL we require.

 

We thank You now, dear Jesus,
For all You've done for us.
We'll love You unconditionally
And accept Your path, as You lead.
