When the world around us
Seems to come crashing down,
Who are we to blame God,
Point fingers or wear a frown.
"What have I done to deserve this?
Why is this happening to me?
Why do I feel this way?
It’s God’s fault! It has to be."
But are you walking in His Will,
Have you repented from your sin?
Are you trusting in His timing,
Opened your heart and let Him in?
He works for the good of those who love Him,
Who have been called according to His plan.
If God is for us, who can be against us?
Not God, but the sinfulness in man.
So when our prayers seem unanswered,
And our faith is shaky and weak;
We must look for the faults within us,
His blessings and forgiveness seek.
We should fall on our faces before God,
Be liberated from bondage and decay;
Seek His glorious freedom from sin,
Not separate ourselves from His love today.
Turn to God with thanksgiving,
He’s blameless, He can do no wrong;
Your prayers will be answered,
When you’re walking where you belong.
